Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Design, development and delivery of marketing communications plans and campaigns for a number of sectors.

Key Responsibilities/ Duties:

PLANNING
- Annually between December December working alongside the Group Head of Marketing, the Global Business Line Marketing Manager and in conjunction with Head of Property and Social Infrastructure and relevant Sector and Account Leads:
- Define annual Marketing plan and activity schedule for the sector across relevant local markets. Manage and implement the plan across all market segments, locations and media channels.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT /STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- To act as the first line marketing contact and account manager for all internal clients in the sector.
- To provide marketing consultancy and delivery to all brand level and market sector focused marketing activity to Sector or Regional Leadership team.
- Drive income generation from marketing spend to support business plan.
- Create content and key messages to market in conjunction with sector / regional teams and independently, where required.

IMPLEMENTATION
- Management of the marketing activity schedule for all relevant activity, delivering the agreed programme on time and on budget.
- Develop and deliver integrated marketing communication and sales support campaigns across the marketing mix
- Effective supplier management and strong negotiation skills to drive optimum ROI from marketing spend.

ONLINE
- Liaison with internal online executive to manage and develop regional web presence, developing and delivering online marketing campaigns including EDMs.

PR
- Working with Group PR team, project manage delivery of PR activity in support of Sector Marketing Plan.

EVENTS
- Project managing the effective delivery of all planned seminars, conferences, exhibitions and other events in support of plan.

MEASUREMENT & ANALYSIS
- Utilising team marketing campaign plans and close out reports to align activity and team input to clear, SMART objectives, delivering to desired response
- Ensure effective follow-up of all marketing activity and implementation of effective measurement tools/techniques.

COLLATERAL
- Project-manage the production of agreed collateral including capability statements, case studies, expert views. Copy writing and copy editing as required. Management of production in conjunction with internal graphic design team, and where applicable external design agencies.

BUDGET
- Manage the regional marketing budget to obtain maximum ROI on marketing spend.

DATABASES
- Manage ongoing database administration with team.

Requirements

- Degree level qualification with CIM, IDM or CIPR qualification, completed or ongoing
- No less than 5 years marketing communications experience in a B2B environment
- Demonstrable record of high performance / delivery across the marketing mix
- Ability to proactively manage a large portfolio of work and a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience of developing and delivering strategic marketing plan (on an international scale an advantage)
- Ability to build consensus, provide direction and be a team player
- Proven track record of success and ability to work autonomously
- Creative, tenacious and thorough, able to bring immediate results
- Assertive personality with ability to persuade and influence senior stakeholders
- Good communication skills - high quality of written and oral communication.
- Good understanding of social media - twitter, LinkedIn
- Personal - professional, organised, reliable, flexible, personable, enthusiastic, punctual and with a positive attitude to work
