Security Senior – IKEA – Cairo Festival City – Egypt

* Supervision for planned and certified measures ensuring IKEA customer, co-worker, property and facilities security within store and its vicinity.
* Validating Al-Futtaim and IKEA security standards and demands.
* Prepares for ensuring legal measures and demands of local authorities and insurance companies.
* Assists achieving and implementing proper, stable systematic security procedures and measures.
* Ensure all security-related equipment and systems including CCTV, are functioning, properly operated and maintained.
* Conducts regular planned reviews for continuous performance improvement.
* Support maintaining efficient relationship with local authorities: Police, Fire, Insurance company
* Supervision to ensure security of assets and operations against all expected threats.
* Assists managing security guards routine and procedures implementation for guarding and controlling customers, co-workers, equipment premises including Car park, in-store warehouse, and Service Office.
* Assists performing periodic and random security inspections for store escalating feedback to Security Manager.
* Assists managing safety plans and evacuation drills.
* Prepares daily and monthly KPIs reports on various measurable factors against benchmarked figures (i.e. manpower productivity, etc).
* Implementing certified actions to achieve agreed goals.
* Support cost controlling through working in a lean, simple, cost-conscious way using good examples and solutions, encouraging team and colleagues to discover more effective ways of working.
* Execute co-workers Security Awareness assessments and manages observation results.
* Supervises Security Team ensuring highest levels of work efficiency within the budgeted productivities, motivation.
* Prepares Security Department various Schedules.
* Plan annual leaves for department on commercial calendar bases.

Requirements

To be successful in winning this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Bachelor's Holder

Minimum Experience:
5 years in a similar role.

Job-Specific Skills:
Strategic Planning and Analytical Skills, Effective Communication, Excel competence.

Behavioural Competencies:
Problem Solving, Confidence, Vigilance and Strategic Thinking.
