Job Description
• Provides supervision of all activities and systems within Al Nakhla Residential City
• Coordinates with all Security Shift Supervisors and managers
• Ensures all security posts are manned and operational 24/7/365
• Reports and follows–up on all safety & security issues that arise
• Supervises and directs control centre staff as well as providing direction to contracted Security personnel regarding patrol and response to incidents
• Reports information to relevant Al Nakhla Management team, and other relevant parties concerning routine and emergency situations
• Provides management with briefings concerning emergencies and threatening situations
• Initiates communications with external agencies concerning incident response or other support which may be required at Al Nakhla
• Maintains accurate logs and records of all emergency and routine events and reports activities to management
• Prepares daily written activity report, reviews all daily shift reports and takes further actions as deemed necessary
• Receives and traces bomb threat calls to identify the caller's location, delegates a response team as directed by the appropriate manager, monitors and reports the situation status to the appropriate senior Management.
• Contacts and informs key personnel at all levels and various departments during emergency and disaster situations
• Updates and maintains a roster of all emergency personnel, places of residence and contact telephone numbers, and notifies key personnel of any serious incidents that may arise during a shift
• Ensures proper liaison with local Government Officials, including Police and National Guard during relevant duty period
• Dispatches security units and other resources on assigned radio frequencies. Coordinates with medical and other emergency response agencies and decides on the level of response based on the nature of the emergency
• Operates and monitors the Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDs), Closed Circuit TV (CCTV), Security Access Control Systems (SACS) and other high tech security systems used at Al Nakhla.
• Prepares staff assessment reports for examination and review
• Trains his first in line Security Officers to Job Task Standards (JTS)
• Performs the role of the JTS evaluator for the Security officers and CCTV Operators
• Provides direction and feedback to his team
• Follows-up all orders and informs Security personnel of any practices and other activities that might conflict with normal operations

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including the ability to relay technical knowledge to management parties unfamiliar with security protocol, systems and technologies (Essential)
• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Security Management, or Business Administration or equivalent. Associate Degree Graduate will be considered combined with, and /or equivalent experience in Law Enforcement, Military or Private Security Operations. (Desirable)
• Minimum of Five (5) years in Security Operations (Essential)
• Specialized advance training and certifications (Incident Command, Communications, Risk Assessments, Security, CPP, PSP or similar internationally recognized certifications) (Desirable)
