Senior Account Director PR – McCann Worldgroup
Upto $150,000 + benefits + low tax regime

A high-profile B2B Strategic PR role working with one of the World’s largest advertising agency networks seconded to a key global B2B client.

IPG comprises a collaborative roster of best-in-class agencies, including McCann Worldgroup, the world’s largest advertising agency network, and the MCN Group across the Middle East and North Africa. FP7/RUH, based in Riyadh.

As Senior Account Director PR, reporting to the Regional Director, embedded within the client organization. You’ll manage the clients’ global needs from within as well as providing integrated B2B communications and PR planning. Working solely on our client either as an internal PR specialist or briefing out externally, you’ll be tasked with a full-service approach to delivery of all client communications.

Ideally this role requires someone with both PR agency and journalist or an in-house corporate PR background. Minimum 8 years’ experience in global top ten agency.

Key features of the role include:

• Some in-house experience with a Corporate entity would be desirable
• Senior journalism experience in an international context (e.g. foreign correspondent for an internal wire or top tier relevant trade publication) or alternatively 3-4 years in a PR role
• Strong background in corporate or B2B communications
• Demonstrable experience providing strategic counsel to senior executive-level clients
• Experience planning and executing integrated communications programs
• Experience working outside the home market (i.e. overseas experience of at least 2 years while in professional practice)
• Experience working in cross-border and multi-cultural teams
• Crisis management / mitigation experience
• Knowledgeable in social / digital media

Any cultural awareness of the Middle East would be a real advantage; adaptability and willingness to relocate to Riyadh and undertake limited travel is certainly a must.
