Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This person would have high involvement & ownership in a major account with a fair amount of independent handling & would be reporting to the Account Director. Will be responsible for maintaining high level of research delivery and further strengthening the relationship by visiting the client for presentations etc. – should be confident in presenting to large audiences with senior marketing clients in a story telling manner. Should have very good client servicing and account management skills coupled with strong analytical skills.

Requirements

• Should have proven Marketing Research knowledge.
• Should have done studies across various categories and ranges of products (tobacco experience would be an advantage).
• Should be able to consult the clients on research areas and recommend solutions.
• Should have attention to detail and produce / share error free information. The job entails commitment to quality.
• Should be able to manage the following tasks without supervision – various types of proposal writing, questionnaire, field brief and other field materials, managing research processes, analysis plan, and presentation.
• Should have strong presentation and interpersonal communications skills. Support projects to ensure that all presentations are of “best in class” standard and ensure high level of insights.
• Should have technical / analytical strengths.
• Should be able to deal effectively under pressure, maintaining persistence and focus, meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, deal with multiple stakeholders.
• Is a team player
• Should have the ability to develop new ideas & initiatives.
• Should have a learning nature and develop quick understanding of clients business, category, protocols, historical trends etc.
• Should be able to adapt and respond to changing conditions, modifying behavior and work style as necessary.

Types of studies worked on (all or at least some of them):
• Product tests
• Usage & attitude studies
• Segmentation studies
• Pricing research

Technical Competencies required:
• PC literacy in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Working knowledge with SPSS and any cross tabulation software.
• Excellent English writing and verbal skills.
