Requirements

This exciting role requires an experienced professional who is degree educated and has a strong technical background. You will preferably have a background in solution sales focusing on Enterprise software to Global 2000 (SAP, Oracle, Sybase or other ERP experience). In addition to be technologically sound, you will have a strong business focus preferably with experience in oil and gas, energy, agriculture, mining / minerals or alternate power solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities with customers, prospects and partners whilst delivering company and product presentations. You will be required to follow up on new business qualification processes to maximise time and money, whilst forecasting new business to sales management and providing outstanding after sales service to customers. You will also be responsible for negotiating software contracts, helping customers realise cost savings as well as learning and remaining educated on the company’s new software offerings.

Due to the nature of travel required and the constant liaison with overseas offices our client is requesting male, native English speaking candidates for this role. The ability to influence decision makers and a strong ability and understanding of the sale of customised software is essential, as is the ability to work in a team environment and under extreme pressure.
