Senior Account Manager

Job description / Role

This position requires proactively inputting into the strategic development of a key client account as well as having ultimate project management responsibility.

- You will be responsible for the main day-to-day Client contact.
- Confident individual who is able to mentor junior members of the team whilst supporting the AD.
- Great presenter with input on managing and achieving client revenue targets and growth.
- Responsibility for the supervision and control of client work allocated, ensuring that the agency achieves and exceeds client expectations.
- Responsibility for the delegation to, training and supervision of an Account Executive.
- To ensure, through efficient team management and their own administration, that all jobs are carried out within agreed timing schedules to the level expected by both the agency and the client.
- Able to carry out day-to-day client management, making decisions and solving problems autonomously.
- To take the overall lead on broad and/or integrated projects requiring thorough project management skills and coordination of internal and external resources.

Requirements

Proficient in English speaking, reading and writing.
- At least 4 years advertising agency / client experience in the discipline of marketing, communications or planning.
- Positively promote the Agency, its work and integrity both internally and externally.
- Promote the various Agency services (including Group services).
- Achieve the best for both the Agency and the teams Clients.
- Understand the Clients business, their marketplace and their key objectives.
- Keep updated on the Clients marketplace through competitor reviews and reading.
- Develop strong working relationships with Clients.
- Ensure Client needs are met quickly, efficiently and completely.
- Help in development and presentation of proposals to Clients.
- Whilst the day-to-day contact might be the Brand Manager, the Account
- Managers maturity should mean that they are comfortable in dealing directly with the Marketing Manager/Director.
- It is expected that at this level one would be regularly presenting creative work as well as strategic proposals, in liaison with the AD. Presentations should be clear, articulate and confident.
