Employment: Full Time

A global marketing agency is now seeking a Senior Account Manager to join the Middle East Team. The role will involve promoting the clients products, services and expertise and will be responsible for developing a client services team and the client accounts. The successful candidate will have previous experience of strategic planning at a client level, focusing on an airline account.

Responsibilities and duties
* The individual should possess strong leadership skills to be able to manage and direct a team in line with client agreed processes.
* Responsible for coaching and mentoring Account Managers on people and performance management best practice
* Responsible for the recruitment and full on-boarding of new team members
* Responsible for the whole process of account management I.e. quality checking accounts, creating proposal documents
* Acquiring new partners for clients and developing initiatives with existing partners
* Management of multiple accounts at one time and taking responsibility for the client relationship on specific projects.
* Ensure highest possible profit margin for client projects
* The individual will be involved in the generation of new business opportunities Identifying industry specific opportunities
* The Senior Account Manager will attend and participate in initial meetings and pitches and will create new proposal documents and planning
* Responsible for acting as both an internal and external consultant for your area of expertise

Requirements

* The successful candidate must be male and hold a minimum of 4 years experience within a full service marketing and communications agency.
* The successful candidate must have experience of working with aviation clients within a marketing agency.
* Experience in contributing to FFP strategy
* Excellent knowledge and working experience of frequent flyer programmes and current trends including mobile and social media
* Excellent data analytic skills and strong financial management/ budget control skills
* The successful candidate must be an excellent influencer with strong negotiation and the ability to challenge the status quo
* Experience in brief writing and using insights to drive internal development teams
* Excellent leadership skills with experience coaching and mentoring, delegation, resource management and on-boarding.
