Senior Accountant (6 Month Contract)

Leading Multinational Company
NTS Group are working with a fantastic fast paced organization within a desirable industry sector to recruit a Senior Accountant on a 6 month fixed term contract.
The main duties are to prepare Financial Statements under IFRS for specific legal entities within the group and within a specified timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare standalone legal entity Trial Balance for historical periods,
- Prepare all supporting reconciliations in preparation for the standalone audit,
- Liaise with the Legal team to ensure related intra-group service agreements are drafted and signed to support the services performed by the individual legal entities,
- Compute and account for intra-group service charge ensuring that the computation is in line with the legal agreement and is supported by auditable financial transactions,
- Highlight to the Corporate Finance Manager if, during this project, any errors or inconsistencies are noted with respect to the accounting policies and procedures, local GAAP or IFRS,
- Ensure all adjustments resulting from the project and from the audit are communicated to the applicable finance team in the prescribed format and are processed in the financial accounting software,
- Reconcile Financial Statements to the financial reporting software at the end of the final audit year.
- Any other ad hoc tasks that might be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Qualified CMA, CIMA, CA, ACCA.
- Advanced IT skills (analysis and accounting systems).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of staff and management.
- Strong accounting experience across all areas of finances e.g. Audit, financial accounting and financial reporting.
- Pro-active self starter, used to delivering under high pressure to tight deadlines.
- Great Plains and FRx experience preferable.
