Job description / Role
The candidate will be working with finance team and will be an experience professional with strong experience and expertise in monitoring and recording of accounting transactions along with related analysis and follow up in assigned work areas.
Functions would also include, but not be limited to:
• Monitors the flow of accounting transactions from source systems to the General Ledger to correct accounts for timely financial close and ensures correct mapping.
• Follows up with relevant departments for accurate recording of revenues, discounts, expenses, assets and liabilities
• Prepares and posts journal entries related to revenues, expenses and Balance Sheet accounts in the General Ledger.
• Prepares necessary analysis and estimations for accruals in liaison with source departments for fair reporting and participates in joint monthly close as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess :
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance;
Preferred: Part or full qualified CA/ACCA/CPA certification.
5 + years’ work experience in General Leger Accounting in large organization;
Experience in Oracle ERP
Proficient in MS Office
Good oral and written communication skills and inter-personal skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Self driven, reliable, analytical and detail oriented
