Job description / Role
As Senior Accountant, Finance, you will focus on business-specific financial, management and MI reporting for the Bank. You will also be the main liaison and point of contact for the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), while also reporting to SAMA on a periodic basis. Key elements to the role will be validation, control and execution of Daily P&L and Risk reporting, while also managing regulatory and taxation returns calculated on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. You will also manage external/internal audits of the branch entity including resolving the issues that arise during audit in a timely and efficient manner. You will proactively develop a strong business network across multiple teams within Regional/Group Finance and maintain frequent communication with them to effectively collaborate and deliver in a manner that is consistent with the Bank's international brand identity.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess the following:
• A Bachelors Degree and an Accounting Qualification or equivalent
•work experience within Financial Reporting, Financial Control and Regulatory Reporting in a top-tier financial services institution
• Prior work experience of having worked with/reported in to SAMA, Riyadh
• Saudi Nationals or GCC Nationals only
• Excellent communication skills and a team player, who is able to collaborate and work across multiple teams within the Bank's global network
