Job description / Role
Salary: AED 15,000 – 17,000 + benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join a multinational manufacturing company based in Dubai as Senior Accountant. The main purpose of this position is to provide support to the Chief Accountant by maintaining accounts payable, inventory and cost controls and to prepare and co-ordinate the closing of accounts in order to ensure timely completion and submission of the financial reports.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Assist the Chief Accountant to liase in treasury matters to ensure the availability of funds for payment to trade creditors and other general expenses.
• Maintain cost and inventory control, master updation and Maintenance.
• Prepare and maintain cost control reports for distribution to department heads.
• Prepare MIS reports for departments (SPR etc.).
• Reconcile inter-company accounts on a periodical basis and operate in Cartesis.
• Prepare and maintain fixed asset register.
• Reconcile the Creditors statement of accounts to ensure all payables invoices taken into in our account accordingly.
• Branch co-ordination and responsible for upload of Panacea data in BPCS.
• Process and print creditors ageing and detail reports and release payment and file the vouchers with invoices by alphabetical order reports to ensure the closing creditors balance match the ledger balance and creditor reconciliation are confirmed.
Requirements
• Must be a fully qualified chartered accountant who is working within the UAE.
• You can be working in any sector.
