We Are pleased to announce the position of Senior Accountant (Treasury)

Senior Accountant Treasury is a cash management specialist position who helps organization increase profitability by assessing periodic liquidity needs and determining funding sources. This specialist also ensures that a company's financial statements are correct and in adherence with accounting principles and regulatory rules.

Deliverables of the role include;
- Understand all aspects of cash flow.
- Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
- Evaluate alternative strategies for funding working capital requirements.
- Manage relationships with financial service providers.
- Evaluate alternative long-term borrowing strategies and make recommendations in accordance with the capital structure guidelines.
- Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements.
- Additional duties as directed by supervisor.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years in accounting (Oil & Gas experience is preferred).
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- Post graduate qualification in MBA (Finance) / Treasury management or Professional Qualification such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
- Extensive experience in preparing cash forecasts and cash flow analyses.
- Experience in the preparation of financial schedules.
- Experience in interpreting complex financial models to evaluate various financial plans.
- Experience in presenting and preparing proposals to recommend new products/services.
- Experience in coaching and developing staff.
- Knowledge of banking, and financial instruments.
- General knowledge of GAAP.
- Knowledge of treasury software expertise a plus.
- Advanced analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
- Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to break down problems into meaningful parts and come to rational and well-thought out conclusions.
- Demonstrated strong project management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interested in process improvement.
- Willing to adapt quickly to quick changes in direction.
- Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop.
