Senior Accountant (Payable)

Job description / Role

Supervising Supplier Payments
•Supervise Preparation and processing of supplier payments at due times
•Obtain all supplier balance information during interim and final audit and develop strong and healthy relationships with the suppliers
•Generate payable ageing analysis on a regular basis to avoid any delays in suppliers’ payments

Preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual accounts
•Ensure closing of all the modules in time and posting of all entries in GL
•Ensure all the provisions/accruals are booked accurately every month in our books
•Ensure preparation of balance sheet and Profit and Loss a/c in time

Reporting and Monitoring
•Provide monthly and annual payments forecast for funds arrangement
•Ensure full compliance with budgetary control set-up and highlight variances and be responsible for ensuring compliance of standard practices
•Produce reports as required by the Financial Controller
Managing the Team
•Manage the performance of the accountants, guide, coach, and develop them

Requirements

University diploma with accounting degree with minimum 3 years of senior accounting experience in a large organization
Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software especially Oracle ERP system
Planning, organizing, time management skills
Strong follow-up monitoring skills, Supervisory skills, Report writing and analytical skills

In 1962 DRC was appointed as the sole franchisee and distributor for Pepsi Co. A wide distribution network ensures Pepsi products are readily available to customers all over the UAE and the world.

Since the factory was established in 1959, DRC has remained at the forefront of the UAE refreshments industry, continually expanding through major investment in the latest bottling technology complemented by the highest levels of Quality Management. DRC has also completed the feasibility stage of setting up the new plant (Greenfield Project).
