Job description / Role
- Assist Accounts Manager and Chief Accountant in preparing audit schedules and working for the auditing also so closely with the auditors to ensure that auditing is completed in time,
- Assist with closing the books and in producing monthly accounts showing profit and loss statements,
- Be in touch with the Finance & Accounts Manager and Chief Accountant on daily basis as it is the job of reporting to them and assist them on special projects,
- Assist with accounts receivables also to lessen the workload,
- Maintain internal financial controls and associated procedures,
- Check regularly physical stock checking. As Fr, Sg, Cl, Acs order balances petty cash inside the shop, cash counting,
- Assist Accounts payable and receivable, review, enter invoices and check requests, sort and match invoices and check requests (Bahrain , Qatar & Dubai) set invoices up for payment process check requests, prepare and process accounts payable checks, transfers monthly payment as flat rent, LMRA, GOSI , Electricity, Telephones ministries, cash sales commission, incentives and quarterly assessment, Payroll transfer,
- Prepare all corporate customers & wholesale invoices,
- Prepare and constantly update a schedule of due bills and follow up,
- Contact clients by phone and follow-up their dues,
- Enter all the receipts, preparing the daily sales report & handling the daily cash sales deposits
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 3 years in financial reporting and general ledger entry will be appreciated
- Proficient use of accounting software like workbooks, Microsoft Excel
- Good English mandatory
- Strong knowledge in finance and accounting principles
- Attention to details and accuracy in accounting procedures
- Good organizational skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good in taking initiative and propose ideas
- Good in problem analysis and problem solving
- Team player
- GCC Driving License
