Job description / Role
• Liaise with bank and other financial institutions as required.
• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to book of accounts, such as general ledger accounts and documenting business transactions.
• Accounts and payable in charge. Ensure accurate and timely payment.
• Ensure accounting books are updated and maintained accurately through passing of JV, CV, RV and PV and other accounting standards.
• Analyze daily banking transactions and journal entries
• Payroll reconciliation, Administer LPO’s, and in charge of the disbursement of the Employee salaries whether, cash cheque or through WPS.
• Prepare monthly financial reports into excel spread sheet for the management
• Verify money requisitions, receipts, and prepares reports to validate individual transactions prior to settlement.
• Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures. Key support to the Management on the analysis of revenues and cost of goods sold.
• Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Provide advice and assistance and early warning of such problems as cost over-runs, excessive charges, and potential penalties.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications and other accounting software such as Tally
• Knows and aware on the up-to date International Accounting Standard (IAS)
• Coordinate with Auditors, Review and check account receivables.
• Perform Audits for management to assess effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records and efficiency of operations.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant
• Master’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• At least 2 years experience in Dubai or N. Emirates
• Other relevant trainings and certification
• Strong analytical skills with attention to details
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
