Job description / Role
Our client is looking to take on an experienced Senior Accountant. The successful candidate will be required to perform all routine activities for the day to day operation of the finance department. This role is only open to individuals residing in the UAE.
Salary up to 15K AED
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements to include the monthly balance sheet, income statement and report on changes in financial position/budget variances and maintain related records.
- Preparation of MIS reports
- Preparation of monthly P&L and Balance sheet
- Prepare monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Preparation and processing of monthly payroll
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statement
- Control over petty cash
- Prepare supplier and intercompany reconciliation on a monthly basis
- Record keeping and Documentation
- Processing payments on a timely basis
- Working knowledge of budgeting tools such as Corporate Planner
- Working knowledge of reporting software such as Qlikview
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, advanced degree or certification a plus.
- Minimum five years relevant work experience in a corporate accounting environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of Tally.
- Advanced Bookkeeping skills.
- General understanding of IFRS.
- Multi-currency accounting experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
