Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Know critical functions within the department and capable of mentoring and assisting employees within the department.
• Utilize teamwork to develop departmental synergy.
• Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
• Review accounts payables and weekly check runs.
• Determine proper handling of financial transactions and approve transactions within designated limits.
• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions.
• Manage and develop staff.
• Distribute financial statements and cost center reports.
• Prepare work papers and support schedules for the annual financial review.
• Distribute monthly comparison reports and cost center reports according to schedules.
• Prepare financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
• Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved.
• Adhere to internal and external deadlines.
• Maintain and monitor the fixed assets system.
• Apply cost accounting methods to achieve accurate representation of cost center performance.
• Hold manufacturing plant management accountable for accuracy and timeliness of inventory controls and cost controls.
• Assist with annual budgets – prepare all allocations.
• Follow up all taxes obligations.
• Coordinate monthly closing process and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
• Support the company’s mission, vision, values and goals in the performance of daily activities.
• Develop and implement various accounting procedures.
• Prepare the monthly statutory accounts and consolidated financial statements.
• Report, analyze, and ensure integrity of all financial information.
• Maintain system of accounts and keep records on all company transactions and assets.

Requirements

University Qualifications: Bachelor's degree
Nature and length of previous experience: 4 - 5 years in a similar position.

Specialist knowledge:

Soft Skills and Personality traits:
• Languages: Arabic and English, French is a plus;
• Computer: MS Office.
• Age Range: 26-35
• Current Location: Lebanon
