The RoleThe RoleSalzburger Aluminium Sohar LLC is operating a purpose made aluminium casthouse in the new Sohar Industrial Estate. The first multi-million $ contract is in hand and we are looking for an individual to work with the Commercial Manager in this small but very professional team. This company is a subsidiary of a large well-regarded Austrian firm and previous experience of group accounting and International Reporting Standards will be advantage. We are now looking for a Senior accountant to take on the very important task of assisting with the accounting and reporting within the JV. Only candidates with SAP FI experience will be considered for this post. The successful candidate will be involved in posting to ledgers, control of petty cash, monitoring budgets, stock control, sales invoicing, cost and expenditure controls, reporting to trial balance, general ledger, supplier and bank reconciliations and other finance related tasks. This position will report to the Commercial Manager of SAG Sohar. A competitive tax-free salary is available along with housing and other benefits. This is a three month contract, however, longer term opportunities may become available during the period of the assignment |
