Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a prominent private equity fund client looking to hire a Senior Accountant. This is a new joint venture between two prestigious institutions and offers the opportunity to join at an exciting stage in their development.
You will work with the CFO to establish the finance responsibilities and commercially analyse potential investments. You will be responsible for producing financial statements for the portfolio on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. You will also ensure timely and accurate reporting to monitor assets under management and report on the performance of hedging strategies and underlying risk changes. Your responsibilities will include assisting the CFO in analysing potential new investments and producing reports to support findings as well as generating extensive financial models to support investment decisions and ad hoc reporting.
Requirements
The successful candidate should be a qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA or equivalent), have 4 to 7 years PQE and be a highly motivated individual. Ideally, you should have qualified with a Big 4 firm and have experience of working within private equity or financial services. Additionally, you should have extensive financial modelling and valuation skills alongside Middle East experience.
