This is a rare and highly sought after opportunity for someone who is looking to be part of a small, distributed team providing high-quality IT supports services to a large, multinational construction business in the Middle East.

We are currently looking for a Senior Application Administrator to support our Design Team. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of technical needs of the department, including Monitoring and Management of Design, Development, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of the Applications. Responsible to help in design, manage and administer communications channels between various stake holders and outsourcing consultants. Provide guidance to junior staff in support and training to the users as and when required.

This position reports to Design Outsourcing Section Manager.

Job responsibilities include:

1. Receive guidelines and instructions from Design Outsource Manager to take new initiatives, development, provide support to the users, user trainings, check issue etc. as required.

2. Perform tasks as the Subject Matter Expert (SME). Provide technical guidance to the team in the technologies related to the development and support.

3. Assist to Design Outsource Manager in planning and execution of tasks related to the evaluation of new initiatives.

4. Examine requirements documents and create technical design documents, unit test, system test and implementation plans for small to complex projects.

5. Use judgment and creativity to design coding approach to meet requirements/specifications as provided by the Design Outsource Manager and other Managers.

6. Provide Assistance to Senior Application Developer or Participate in Development, configuration and maintenance of document libraries, enterprise lists, site collections etc. Perform typical system administrative activities such as site creation, user training, backup, restore and issue resolution.

7. Maintain and administer the Solutions, including monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis.

8. Provide Assistance to Application Developer or Participate in Technical development, support, users trainings etc.

9. Able to manage and priorities the tasks.

10. Able to work cross technical environment including but not necessary Microsoft SharePoint, Oracle, Prolog etc.

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

1. Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology.

2. Minimum 10 years of working experience as Software Team Leader in a reputable organization or in a construction industry.

3. Minimum 8 years of development experience in SharePoint, including creation and customization of sites, developing workflows, develop web parts, customization of data by using JavaScript and reporting.

4. Experience in the use of collaboration and document management systems.

5. Knowledge of construction submittals and drawings transmittals.

6. Fluency in English and/or Arabic language.
