Senior Application Specialist (Mobile Application Developer)

Job description / Role

Ashghal is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to design, develop and implement small and large scale mobile projects for Windows, Android and iOS. These will include solutions for defect capturing of several departments working on site, or apps to undertake detailed inspections of different types of assets and report back to a central server. The developer must be familiar with mobile development best practices, not only being able to create apps but also how to benefit from the device's capabilities to create unique mobile solutions. The developer will act as the mobility expert for the Asset Affairs office in Ashghal and lead with strategy.

Requirements

- Full software development lifecycle experience, preferably in an enterprise level (5+ years).
- Proficient in fundamentals of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Experience with Objective-C and familiarity with iOS devices (3+ year).
- Experience with Java and the Android OS (3+ year).
- It is a plus to have apps published in public App Stores or to customers in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with cross-platform tools such as Xamarin is a plus.
- Experience with C# is a plus.
- Being able to work individually or as part of a team. Team and project leading experience is a plus.
