Job description / Role
Our client is a leading bank in Kuwait and is currently seeking an IT professional that is very well versed in Kondor+ (Front Office Treasury Risk Management System). This is initially for a 12 month contract position to be based in Kuwait which may lead to permanent. Candidates who ALSO have experience in Murex will be favored.
To work with IT and Treasury and Global Markets business supporting the users with Kondor+ consolidation that our Client is implementing.
Requirements
Ideal requirements for Candidates:
5+ Years Working experience
Must be coming from a Banking / Financial services industry
Degree in Information Technology, or similar Education, with exposure to Finance and will ideally have a functional knowledge in finance and global markets products ( Forex & Fixed Income products )
Excellent experience of Reuter Kondor+ (Kondor plus, Kondor+) application
Murex experience an advantage
Ability to work on small enhancements/value add projects for the business
Project Management skills in front office systems implementation projects
Technical Skills
Strong skills in both technical and functional aspects on Reuter Kondor+ (Kondor plus , Kondor+)
Experience in Front Office, Risk PnL and/or Back Office applications
Good understanding of financial products pricing
Understanding of Unix & Linux, Windows, SQL (Sybase/Oracle)
Knowledge of Java, C++, Scripting, Tibco, Fix messaging and Network are a plus.
