Senior Architect Engineer

Job description / Role

My leading Oil & Gas client are currently looking for a Senior Architect Engineer to join their operation in Saudi Arabia.

Perform engineering/architectural analysis, development, design and control of assigned projects within any one of his/her recognized fields. Scope includes engineering aspects of studying alternates or designing new facilities and installations and modifying existing facilities.

Design projects assigned are generally appropriations up to $100,000 or an equivalent of 1,500 man-hours; incumbents are assigned as member of engineering group on larger projects. Incumbent must have thorough training, knowledge and ability in his engineering field and working knowledge of related engineering fields and of applicable codes and standards. The work includes site supervision, review of material package, evaluation of suggested material, proposing alternatives, running quality assurance, and other related tasks based on company needs.

Requirements

B.S. degree in Engineering, with Masters degree in Engineering highly advantageous. A thorough knowledge of English is required to perform work as described and make clear and concise verbal and written reports and keep up with technical advancements.

Must have a thorough knowledge of engineering practices, calculation methods, design details, U.S. and standards and specifications. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, preferably in the design and construction of mega-architectural projects.
