Senior Architect

Job description / Role

- Preparation of high quality presentation drawings.
- Preparation of technical design packages through to tender.
- Provide support and production assistance to senior team members.
- Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates detailed phases of the architectural portions of a project. This involves the preparation of original designs, layouts, details, drawings and specifications.
- Analyzes and reports on the suitability of unconventional materials, techniques and/or difficult coordination requirements.
- Coordinates architectural efforts in assigned areas with specialty groups, engineering disciplines, the client, vendor, contractors, construction and other divisional groups.
- When delegated, assumes a lead role over other architectural personnel for specific tasks or project sub-groups.
- Assists in on-the-job training of assigned personnel and provides input for their performance evaluation.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Architecture or related field.
- 12+ years of relevant work experience.
- Preferably western trained with middle/experience knowledge.
- Should have strong design and presentation skills and be proficient with hands graphics and computer graphics.
- Experience in the use of Adobe Photoshop, Pagemaker and Illustrator is preferred.
- Ability to use and work on MicroStation is an asset.
