Job description / Role
Responsibilities include, but not limited to, review and monitoring of work performed by other Consultants and Contractors for the following:
• Design documents.
• Constructability Analysis of the design
• Value Engineering
• Construction Progress including Offsite Manufacturing Process
• Defects/ Punch Lists prior to Construction Completion
• Inspection, Testing, Commissioning, Completion, and Handover of the Works
• As Built Drawings and Operations and Maintenance Manuals
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requirements
Western qualifications and experience with 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture (or related field) from an accredited Western University and 15+ years of related work experience.
Proficiency in utilizing PC software packages typically associated with architect/engineering, including CAD is required.
Experience reviewing contractor submittals and inspecting construction progress.
Proficiency in the application of current architectural/engineering theories and concepts.
