Job Purpose:
This position will develop the concept architect proposal into working details taking into account the local market and technical expertise.
This position is responsible for daily tasks involved in design of facilities and structures for clients. This includes performing actual design tasks (conceptual, layout, and detail) and/or coordinating design and construction activities, studies, and various analyses.
Senior Architect has deep knowledge of multiple subject areas or disciplines, and provides advice and counsel related to the subject areas. He/she prioritizes work to meet project/team deliverables.
Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
With minimal supervision, the individual as a Senior Architect is responsible for independently applying advanced architectural concepts and designs for interior layout and design and exterior appearance.
Develop working drawings and tender documents
Ensure designs are compliant with local codes and standards
Ensure specified material & products are available locally
Ensure construction methodologies are available and expertise is locally known
May provide technical guidance and supervision to designers/drafters and less experienced architects.
Review produced drawings and documents against each ensuring fully coordinated and compliant submissions
Coordinate with local authorities to obtain approvals

Basic Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Expertise to demonstrate working knowledge of issued for tender drawings & documents and issued for construction drawings
Architectural degree and recognized by a Architectural society
Team player and inter-discipline co-ordination skills are essential
Have local\regional experience and knowledge of available products and construction technologies
Capable of supervising CAD works
