Senior Architectural Revit Technician - Dubai
My client is a global leader in architecture and design with a presence internationally across a number of major cities and with a reputation for delivering some of the worlds leading projects. Due to their fantastic reputation for delivering only the highest quality designs they are able to be selective in which projects they undertake and as a result, maintain a client base of some of the leading developers and operators. Their success has come from both their design ability and their understanding of these select client, with their aim to produce creative concepts that are unique to each project.
My client is searching for a Senior Architectural Technician capable of running projects through the production: take on the responsibility of coordinating the concept design with their in-house Structure and MEP division, and incorporate interior design by an outside interior design firm and other outside specialty consultants.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing and working with a Revit team in the creation a BIM documentation.
- Liaising with the client
- Following the program of the project
- Leading the team of Architect, Graduate Architects, Draftsmen and 3D Visualizers
- Ensure all local authority submissions are monitored to obtain approval.
- Ensure the operational standards are understood and maintained by all members of your design team.
- Ensure all designs are in accordance with the relevant standards and approved relevant local authority regulations.
- Ensure agreed packages of documentation are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Prepare the local authority submissions in accordance with the relevant local authority requirements.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of Architecture experience.
- Leadership skills.
- Experience in hospitality/commercial projects.
- Good understanding of Middle East Building Codes with a Middle East Experience is a plus but not a necessity.
- Strong communication skills graphically and verbally including written English.
- Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple tasks.
- Effective problem solving and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with our in-house engineers.
- Revit knowledge is a MUST as this is the primary design tool in the office.
