Job description / Role
The Art Director is critical to the conceptual process and design execution of a project. You are the creative director’s right hand; a collaborator adept at leveraging and working with every discipline to deliver compelling user experiences, marketing, branding and advertising. You own the execution as much as the CD; you’ll push the pixels as much as a buck Designer.
With your amazing conceptual and design skills, you’ve not only generated visionary ideas and the visuals to go with them, you’ve actually brought them to digital life. You’ve translated your design-superstar ethic into the language of team leadership. People will follow you because you know how to not only talk the talk, but walk the walk. You’re creating and directing design projects, managing creative teams, estimating and managing timelines with the Creative Director and Project Manager, and ensuring everything you deliver is of the utmost quality.
Requirements
• Strong design portfolio with 4+ years design and interactive work experience, and 2+ years in a lead creative role
• Experience leading a team of designers, production specialists and writers to creative excellence.
• Well-developed communication skills
• Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to clients and team members
• Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative
