Job description / Role
Our client is a successful international law firm with a reputable reputation in the MENA region. They are currently looking to to grow their banking practice by establishing a banking/financial practice in Bahrain.
This is an exciting opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to take the next step in his/her career. The banking role is a sole position but would receive support from their UAE based office. There is allowance for growth to a potential Partner position depending on performance, business development etc.
*Open to in-house candidates looking to return to private practice.
Reporting to: Head of Practice (Bahrain office)
Duration: Permanent
Working Hours: Sun - Thurs
Travel requirements: Occasional travel within country (Client meeting etc.)
Salary info: Bahraini Dinar (Tax free)
Requirements
7+ years PQE (Post Qualified Experience)
Specialist knowledge:
> Minimum 3 - 5 years banking experience in Bahrain/GCC.
> Comprehensive banking/financial legal experience
> Legal qualified lawyer - essential
Language Fluency: Arabic
