Senior Western Admitted Attorney
Retained Assignment with the Advocate Group
Leading law firm based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
One of the most high profile and highly regarded law firms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking a Magic Circle / White Shoe level admitted lawyer for a Senior Associate Position in there office In Riyadh.
The firm currently boast an international sponsor, which at this time will remain confidential, but works exclusively as a local firm for the practice in question. They have represented clients along the lines of the: Big Four Audit companies, weapons and defence contractors, two of the globes largest oil producers, several of the fortune 500 companies operating in the KSA. As a result a portable client following is not a requirement for this role.
The firm is seeking to bring on board an attorney who has the correct market knowledge for the region to thrive. They are offering at least a 24 month contract to ensure the correct person is brought on board.
Finally That and they have retained the Advocate Group as a private consultancy to find the correct person.
Requirements
- Have been formally admitted in a recognised common law jurisdiction (United Kingdom, United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, etc)
- Have some level of market knowledge for Saudi Arabia.
- Have been based in the region, although, if you are not based there now this is not to say you wouldnt be suitable contender.
- Confident in there ability to advise on Saudi Arabia laws and regulations.
- Have previously worked in an leading firm in there home jurisdiction (Magic Circle, Silver Circle, Seven Sisters, White Shoe, etc).
Ideally candidate will have (but not a requirement):
- Fully bilingual - English / Arabic.
- Based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia now.
- Confident working with several international transactions simultaneously.
This is a role based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and candidate will be compensated accordingly to the jurisdiction and the level of the work that they will be working on.
This includes, tax free, medical, car allowance, bonus scheme (which I will go into once suitability is established).
The salary will be a minimum of 170,000 Pounds+ / $255,000 + depending on exposure and experience.
