Employment: Full Time

This world class leading Bank has a role in our Retail Clients Group Internal Audit Team in the Integrated Distribution area. This covers RC Sales across Client Acquisition, Client Relationships & Contact Centre. This role will be based in any of the below locations -
- Kuala Lumpur
- Singapore
- Hong Kong
- India (Mumbai/Chennai)

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- To perform and lead internal audit engagements of Retail Clients to provide ongoing assurance over the effectiveness of the design and implementation of controls. Deliver the audit plan established in conjunction with the Functional Audit Teams.
- Act as liaison with Management to ensure full understanding of business strategy, plans, products, performance and risk-related issues at business unit level and communicating these to the relevant Functional Team members
- Perform, support, lead or manage where directed, the planning, fieldwork, and reporting of internal audit engagements to deliver agreed assurance objectives to established standards and timelines
- Provide non-assurance services to business units where required, through participation on advisory engagements / special projects within the Group
- Where undertaking the role of Team Leader / Manager, provide interim performance feedback to team members
- Share knowledge, skills and experience with team members to guide and assist in their development
- To identify and escalate significant issues
- Reporting to Head of Audit - Retail Clients portfolio.

Requirements

- Experienced internal auditor, risk professional or business practitioner who is a deep subject matter expert in Retail Clients & Integrated Distribution, with focus on RC sales and Client Acquisition.
- Accounting / Audit qualification preferred (including e.g. ACA, ACCA, IIA)
- Effective written and presentation skills
- Strong communicator with an ability to influence
- Highly credible with their counterparts in the business
- Up to date with developments within their area of expertise
- Ability to work with minimal direction
- Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to the Group's core values
- Ability to commit to up to 30% business travel
