Senior / Principle Banking Consultant
* FLUENCY IN ARABIC is a must.
You will be responsible for comprehensive senior level technical consulting to IT Management teams for a spectrum of technologies. Specifically technology planning, lifecycle management, vendor management, product management, estimating, recommending and presenting technology solutions to executive IT & Business Stakeholders.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Delivering solutions to banking clients
- Leading complex programs projects
- Supporting the growth jointly with Sales in Banking industry
- Leading and managing projects and programs in payment, cash management, transaction etc.
- Evaluating the business cases
- Designing transformation projects in banking
- Performing business profitability measurement and improvement, business strategy review and implementation, financial and operational risk and controls reviews, industry bench-marking, enterprise risk management, and regulatory and legal compliance reviews
- Advising clients on PMO, change management, procedure operation, and governance related issues.
- Advising and assisting executive clients as they make decisions to improve their organizations performance
- Assisting with proper documentation and quality control of work products
- Preparing client deliverable consisting of Excel models, Word and PowerPoint documents
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant experience in banking or financial services in a consultant and/or industry role
- Middle East experience
- Knowledge and experience in a broad range of subject matters including mortgage compliance, system development, operational excellence and information technology
- Project/Program management experience, and a well-established knowledge of project management methodologies
- Strong data analysis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Creative problem-solving ability and a collaborative, consultancy mindset
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Able to balance multiple engagements with varying deadlines
- Able to generate a quality work product in a timely manner while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving ability and a collaborative, consultancy mindset
- Highly motivated, driven, and dynamic attitude towards work and career
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Access, and Visio a plus
- Bachelors degree in a business related or technical field
- MBA or MA/MS degree in a related field a plus
- CPA, Lean, Six Sigma, PMP or other relevant certifications a plus; desire to pursue certifications a plus
- Arabic speakers are preferable
