Employment: Full Time

To maintain the appropriate levels of beverage stocks by monitoring purchases and sales, ensuring professional, efficient and accurate service of all types of beverage following the recipes in standards, in order to completely satisfy our guests during their meal experience.

NATURE & SCOPE

Support the F&B team to achieve the departmental goals and service level standards at all times.

Implement system improvements and administrative effectiveness to ensure a customer focused and solution oriented service is offered to external and internal customers at all times.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- To ensure that the uniform provided is kept clean, presentable and in good condition, ensures that personal appearance and hygiene standards are an example for the team and demonstrate a professional image for our guests
- To attend pre-service briefings for daily updates
- To ensure that mise en place levels is kept to standards
- To meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate and complete knowledge of all products (F&B), services, facilities, equipment, procedures and policies, standards, promotions and activities, business requirements, etc.
- To make recommendations for guests when requested
- To treat all ambassadors with respect and integrity.
- To serve wines and other beverages in order to meet guest requirements by providing
- The appropriate product in the correct manner
- To perform free-pouring exercises as scheduled by the outlet supervisors or by the hotel head Mixologist.
- To ensure all beverages and cigars are correctly charged
- To promote cigar sales to complete meal experiences
- To ensure all beverages and cigars are stored securely
- To oversee the ordering and receiving of beverages before the end of shift to provide accurate levels of stock
- To brief staff on the daily specials and unavailable items
- To ensure that the cellar is kept stocked, clean and in the appropriate operational order at all times
- To ensure that the bar equipment and wine basket, decanters and ice bucket with stands are kept clean and in order
- To wish “Farewell” to all guests, encouraging repeat customers
- To supervise the other bartenders and be responsible for their performance
- If working in Armani Prive, the Ambassador will comply with self cashiering policies, (see attachment).
- To ensure record of all guest orders and transactions through Micros EPOS
- To meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient manner
- To present menus and wine lists
- To ensure that the station is stocked and tidy at all times, ensuring efficient service
- To communicate clearly and effectively within the team
- To ensure that any matters relevant to guests satisfaction are communicated appropriately, allowing for corrective measures to be taken
- To serve food and beverage according to guest’s needs and expectations
- Assists in serving and mixing drinks according to recopies
- Obtain beverages and bar supplies from store rooms
- To maintain the opening and closing check list done
- To maintain HACCP
