The Role


Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the brand strategies and plans are clearly articulated and agreed with distributors.
• Understand what drives the local consumer and how the company can influence and lead these consumers.
• On-going analysis of sales to monitor current performance and identify future opportunities. Conduct overall industry analysis, market research and competitive analysis.
• Create, communicate and brief innovative new concepts and product ideas for category growth.
• Assist the Brand and Marketing Manager in planning international product line driving volume at acceptable margins. Make recommendations on pricing strategy.
• Coordinate with International Merchandising team to plan new product introductions and promote new developments of the sports brands
• Present new collections and create various support presentations.
• Manage and work together with local agencies (media and creative) to identify, develop and execute the relevant seasonal initiatives.
• Ensure that the brand plans are well-communicated with Retail marketing, PR and events for all relevant initiatives.
• Integrate with Sales and retail throughout the season and go to market process and communicate the brand plans and support in a timely matter to maximize sell-in.
• Present the seasonal brand plans for key retailers during seasonal sell-in.
• Evaluate every marketing campaign.

Person Requirements

• University degree in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA preferred.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in marketing or advertising agencies. It is important to have an experience in sales or retail, at least a relationship with sports fashion industry.
• Natural interest for style and entertainment world to be able to connect with the sportswear consumer.
• Fluent in English. Both written and spoken. Arabic is a preference.
