Senior Breeder - South Africa

Millar Cameron is the global leader in agricultural recruitment for Emerging Markets, focusing on regions such as Africa, South America and the Middle East. Supporting some of the largest Agriculture firms around the world in their operations we are always in search of new talent with specific skillsets.

At present one of our key clients requires a Senior Breeder for their organisation in South Africa. The Senior Breeder will be responsible for the entire breeding and development programme in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the breeding programme in South Africa
- Sourcing different varieties
- Converting GMOs to production
- Conducting all trials
- Conducting research and development

Requirements

- Degree level educated
- 5-6 years breeding experience
- Experience in Maize, Soya, Corn
- Research experience
