Our client, who is one of the leading consultancies in the GCC, requires a Senior Bridge Design Engineer to join them on a permanent basis out in Qatar.
The successful candidate will be expected to review the designs and ensure compliance with the client and regulations.
Duties
• The Senior Structural Engineer will ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards, laws and regulations; assist HoS in establishing section policies/procedures
• Develop a thorough understanding of owner/client design requirements prior to commencement; coordinate with HoS, architects & engineers for further classification
• Determine required structural component/material quality based on designs
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to draftsmen and less experienced structural engineers
Requirements
Requirements
• Minimum 18 years’ experience on bridges
• Working knowledge of CAD, ETABS, SAFE, REVIT software
• Must have professional accreditations
• Must have Masters Degree
• Knowledge of international standards and codes
