Job description / Role
My client is multi-disciplinary engineering consultants who have recently been awarded a major contract to manage the refurbishment and construction of roads, tunnels, bridges, drainage systems, sewage networks and government buildings for the Municipality of Jeddah. They are currently looking to recruit a Senior Budget and Planning Engineer who will be responsible for preparation of planning and budgeting schedules for the construction of city infrastructure. You will be leading a team of planners and schedulers ensuring that a suitable schedule and budget is in place that meets client expectations and support mission goals ensuring that all work is completed on time and to budget.
Requirements
Candidates must have a degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a leading university and will also preferably have further qualification such as a Masters of Science. Candidates must be PMP certified and will have a proven background in managing planning and budgeting teams working on large construction projects in the Middle East. Candidates will preferably have experience of working on projects relating to city infrastructure and will have preferably managed large multi-national teams.
