Our client is a global network of sports channels with headquarters across the Middle East, France, Indonesia and the US and is currently undergoing significant executive talent growth given its formation in 2012. The firm currently operates and provides services across the Middle East, North Africa, France, USA, Indonesia, Canada, Hong Kong and Thailand. The Strategic Planning and Investment Directorates now seek to recruit 2 x Senior Business Analysts. These roles are:

Senior Business Analyst Investments: this role is responsible to undertake research to provide information and investments ideas to the Investment Director.
Senior Business Analyst Strategic Planning & Business Development: this role is responsible to undertake research to provide strategic ideas to the Strategic Planning & Business Development Director.

This information these roles provides enables management to make decisions relating to their reflective portfolios they manage.

Reporting to either the Director of Investment or Director of Strategic Planning & Business Development; this role is responsible for the following:

Interact, liaise and brainstorm with other departments and relevant stakeholders on strategic and functional changing needs, and translate them into new project initiatives.
Review and participate in developing corporate development initiatives by analyzing gathered information and data.
Essentially provide an insight on economic trends and evaluate investment potential.
Participate in solving complex problems and strategic issues facing the network, where situational analysis, technical expertise and assessment of intangible data and factors is needed.
Access and understand wider business information such as relevant economic data and political events.
Skilled at examining and interpreting data from different sources and understanding the impact this will have for investment decision making.
Conducting due diligence on companies and industries by researching, reading financial statements and market data keeping up to date with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economies of relevant countries.
Ensuring that all compliance regulations are met.
Conduct modeling and evaluation analysis
Participate alongside with the investment team in complex opportunities.

Requirements

The attributes we seek for suitably qualified candidates comprise:

Minimum Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing Engineering or related fields, is essential. A Masters degree is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years experience in professional experience in Management Consulting, Program Management, or other related fields. Experience in the media sector, investment sector or banking will be highly regarded.
Experience in the MENA media sector is highly desirable.
Must have a strong grasp of the global media industry in terms of players, dynamics and trends.
Exceptional communication skills.
