Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a newly created position due to the company growth. The role reports to the Group FP&A Manager. It requires an individual with excellent investigative, research and communication skills, outstanding business acumen, and past audit experience a plus. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

The individual will also participate in the effort to define workflow and be responsible for delivering the necessary results to support the business and related compliance requirement.

Primary responsibilities
1. Act as a Finance Business partner
2. Designing the right KPIs and scorecards for to capture the performance encompassing all the functions and works with the analytics teams to automating and designing systems reports, wherever required.
3. Leading the planning for targets, management from FP&A side, manage and drive the targets set for BDs, Seller development, Order management teams
4. Analyze and help the organization with improving and prioritizing of SKUs, selection with Retail teams.
5. Working with the organization on setting and improving financial process and also including but not limited to identifying new revenue streams.
6. Educating the teams on Order economics and how to improve overall health of the business.
7. Work with marketing teams on development of marketing budgets and plans for organization and monitor weekly / monthly spending for online/offline marketing activities. Review and monitor ROI on a periodical basis and recommend the findings on optimization to BU management and Finance leaders if any actions are required.
8. Work with the business teams to help them understand the financial impact of the decisions they take and also identifying areas where they can bring more efficiencies.
9. Budgeting/AOP: Working closely with the Group FP&A Manager and leadership team determining robust assumptions to drive the rolling forecast model.
a. Primary responsibility to facilitate the identification of business goals, strategies, and initiatives through the annual business planning process
b. Assist MP Org. in formalizing the yearly revenue targets, budgets and operating plans
10. Covering the FP&A Manager on the quarterly forecast assumptions and performance
11. Forecasting and modeling and analysis: Monthly forecasts, identifying trends early and flagging teams if below the plans and recommend corrective actions to achieve plans. Conducting Weekly forecasting and planning meeting with Country and regional managers.
12. Work with leadership team to improve P&L bottom line on a consistent basis
13. Conduct ROI analysis for various operation activities and make recommendation for investment

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experience

5+ years of related work experience in a finance-related field (including management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance) - FMCG/retail experience preferred
Bachelors degree required; MBA and/or professional qualification is desired
Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills
Demonstrated record of process improvement
Rigorous attention to detail
Passion to learn and ability to absorb new information rapidly
Strong written and verbal communication
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Must have substantial experience with MS Excel
