Employment: Full Time

A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN AND WORK FOR ONE OF OMAN’S LARGEST COMPANIES AND CURRENTLY ONE OF THE RAPIDLY GROWING BUSINESSES IN THE MIDDLE EAST

As a result of recent growth, they are now seeking a new Senior Business Analyst to join their dedicated team in Muscat, Oman. They have more than 1,600 employees, who work across 4 plants with common goal of building an Integrated Omani Refining and Petrochemical Business.

DELIVERABLES
• Financial modelling for existent & new assets.
• Facilitation with functions and personal work that will result in delivery of the business planning
using best practices.
• Work effectively with assigned functions by using approved standardized tools and
methodologies for assisting business in continuous improvement, decision making and course
correction.
• Conduct complex and multifaceted studies on the impact of planning on the business and
individual departments in order to identify the effort needed to improve performance and
outcomes.
• Benchmarking of department / function performance against industry standards and synthesize
findings.
• Work with Function Heads to support preparations of business planning.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
• University degree in Engineering/ Finance/ Economics/ Business or equivalent (Required).
• Professional certifications, equivalent accreditation or MBA (Preferred)

Required Experience & Skills:
• Minimum experience required is 7/8 years working experience with financial modelling experience
in large and complex organization
• Exposure to Oil and Gas industry shall be preferred.
• Excellent skills in MS Office applications / discipline related software
• Excellent Planning skills.
• Excellent Analytical skills and problem solving.
• Attention to details and strategy setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with and influence peers and other service units.
• Proven effectiveness in analysis execution, delivering results.
• Fluent in English
