Senior Business Risk Services Consultant (Internal Audit, Risk Management and Compliance)

Job description / Role

The candidate is supposed to conduct Risk Assessments and lead a team in conducting risk based audits. He might also be requested to participate in the implementation of Operational / Enterprise Risk Management systems. He should have solid understanding of IIA standards and standards issued by other related professional bodies.

Main responsibilities:
- Participate in the implementation of ORM/ERM systems
- Participate in conducting Risk Assessment workshops
- Participate in conducting outsourced or co-sourced Internal Audit assignments
- Develop and Conduct compliance and substantive tests
- Develop/discuss recommendations to overcome weaknesses identified
- Participate in conducting Risk / Audit training seminars
- Managing a team of 2-3 consultants
- Providing on-the-job training to his subordinates

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Accounting or any related field
- Other certifications obtained: CMA, CPA, CIA, CFE preferable
- 3-5 years experience in Internal Audit or Operational Risk Management

Specialist knowledge:
- Has good knowledge of Financial Institutions' various functions risks, controls and main processes and activities.

Soft Skills and Personality traits: Excellent communication and computer skills

Language Fluency: Must be Bilingual (English & Arabic)
