Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a highly renowned retail organisation who is looking to hire a Senior Buyer (Fitness Equipment) to join their team.
As Senior Buyer, you will develop product buying strategies. You will also plan to meet key business objectives and financial goals to ensure profitability whilst aligning customer purchasing trends with product offers in retail stores.
You will also be responsible for buying analysis, financial goals, consumer analysis and product planning and support. This will include analysing historical data and current trends to identify present and future risks and opportunities. You will also review and examine actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales / inventories on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to drive sales.
Requirements
Additionally, you will manage consumer mapping, product and consumer segmentation along with differentiation in every territory. You will also create product plans to guarantee profitability by maintaining consumer focused brand lines and ensuring maximum densities and ROI.
The successful candidate should hold a bachelors Degree and have at least five years experience in the retail industry preferably in sports or fashion.
