Senior Buyer / Procurement Manager

Job description / Role

Our client, an Oil & Gas company is currently hiring a Senior Buyer / Procurement Manager. He should have a min 7-8 yrs work experience in handling equipment pressure vessels, should have strong knowledge of Review Commercial Bid Evaluation (CBE). Can perform pricing analysis, recommend contract awards that result in best value procurement.
Assigned procurement team’s activities – Stock/Non Stock/ Process/ Modular Building/ EPC/ EPM Jobs.
Conduct commercial negotiation and conclude on techno commercial requirements to make purchase decisions on the specific strategy need and business policy.
Must hold degree in Engineering with knowledge of ERP system.

Requirements

Qualification, Knowledge, Experience

a. Academic Qualification and Professional
• Graduate – Engineering or equivalent preferred.

b. Experience (Minimum Preferred)
• 8-10 years experience in procurement activity in the Oil & Gas industry.
Technical Requirements
• Competency in interpreting technical specifications for procurement.
• Strong supply chain & INCOTERMS knowledge.
• Knowledge of standard accounting and banking practices such as Letter of credit.
• Knowledge of MS Office Package, Knowledge in any ERP System.
