For a program's entire life cycle, AECOM has the skills and subject matter experts needed to manage risk and apply creative problem-solving through all phases. We are looking to hire a Senior CAD Operator for one of our prestigious projects in Saudi Arabia. This position is based in Jeddah. Role: Prepare CAD layouts, site plans, engineering details and graphics. Manage CAD filing. Responsibilities: Establishes and maintains CAD filing system. Checks all aspects of CAD drawings, such as drafting standards, produced by internal and external sources. Undertake allocated CADD tasks to agreed deadlines, standards (industry & project). Coordinates action plans with Project Managers when receiving electronic CAD files used to review, prepare and make revisions to the drawings. Utilizes drafting, design and other applicable software for development of drawings, details, notes, quantities and cost estimates. Imports and exports data between survey sources, Excel spreadsheets, AutoCAD, CAD3D, 12D, Microstation and MX Roads software. |
RequirementsRequirementsAn accredited Certificate or Diploma in CAD Drafting, Civil Engineering or equivalent required. Minimum 10 years of experience with an engineering firm working closely with design engineers delivering designs from concept to completion A working understanding of engineering design principles in architectural, structural and infrastructure design disciplines. Must be familiar with the design manuals and criteria applicable to development projects and how to use them to determine design parameters. Ability to think spatially and reason independently. Proficient in AutoCAD. Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Electronic Document Management Systems. Personality Attributes: Ability to coordinate and communicate with staff of multiple and various backgrounds using effective communication skills. Ability to work well with others. Accountability for assigned work. Self-motivated, with ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
