The Role


The Role

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Parsons is providing design and construction supervision and management services to community development infrastructure and housing across Saudi Arabia.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Should have experience in the design of all utilities/ infrastructure related buildings/ elements such as Pumping Stations, Sub Stations, Tanks, Chambers and Pits etc inclusive of determining sizes/ volumes etc.

Should be able to design cover and backfill requirements to large and small diameter culverts and pipes (sewerage and water supply and cables etc).

Should be experienced in report writing and recommending conceptual design solutions.
They should be experienced in Local Authority and Ministry Liaison preferably in KSA during design and construction and fully experienced in attending to contractors queries and attending to site issues in an expedient manner.

Additional skills such as design of road pavements, sizing pipes for drainage and water supply systems, specifying pumps and pumping systems will be an advantage.

PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

4-year degree in Engineering (or related field) and 8-10 years of related work experience. Professional Engineer registration may be required.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:

Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
