OUR WOMENS HOSPITAL
Providing specialized care for women and newborn babies
The 331-bedded Womens Hospital was opened in 1988 and is a highly specialized hospital for women and new born babies. It provides both, inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital offers an extensive range of care services including Maternity Services, Gynecology, Neonatal Care, Emergency care and New Born Screening.
Diagnostic and therapeutic services include:
- Radiology,
- Laboratory,
- Newborn Screening,
- Fetomaternal Unit,
- Assisted Conception Laboratory,
- Respiratory Therapy,
- Pharmacy.
Inpatient Services are provided through multidisciplinary teams, based on patient needs, at the following units:
- Labor Unit (18.000 deliveries per year),
- Operating Rooms,
- Recovery Rooms,
- High Dependency Units,
- Prenatal Care,
- Postnatal Care,
- Gynecology,
- Neonatal Intensive & Intermediate Care.
Outpatient Services include:
- Assisted Conception Unit (fertility treatment),
- Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit,
- Day Care Surgery Unit,
- Outpatient Clinics.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Midwifery & Master Degree in Midwifery, OR
- Bachelor Degree in Midwifery & Master Degree in Advanced Practice in Midwifery, OR
- Bachelor Degree in Midwifery & Master Degree in Mother & Child Health, OR
- Bachelor Degree in Midwifery & Master Degree in International Child Health
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a Senior Clinical Midwife position in clinical/hospital setting
- Experience in managing a Obstetrics & gynecology team
