Senior Coastal Engineer

Job description / Role

- Designs coastal protection structures (revetments , breakwaters).
- Designs beaches including groynes.
- Designs scour protection.
- Inspects and evaluates condition of coastal infrastructure {beaches , revetments, breakwaters).
- Prepares, manages and reviews bathymetric surveys, sediment sampling and water quality testing
- Prepares, manages and reviews marine geotechnical investigations.
- Utilizes Hydrodynamic modeling (near-shore wave conditions, wave transformation, wave disturbance, sediment transport).
- Prepares and delivers presentations.
- Writes technical reports (feasibility, concept, detailed).
- Inspects construction works.

Requirements

- Degree in Coastal Engineering.
- Masters in Coastal Engineering or similar discipline.
- 10-15 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Working knowledge of hydrodynamic software packages.
