Job description / Role
Reporting to the Programme Director and responsible for directing the commercial management of project sites. You will be responsible for leading and directing all commercial aspects of executing the programme management consultant’s role on a major programme of infrastructure and building development works.
Role
•Interface with senior management team to meet overall program deliverables
•Develops the contracts and procurement strategy, standards, policies, procedures and best practices
•Establishing procedures for award and administration of Project contracts
•Directs the commercial team to ensure that they meet the Project objectives by establishing contracts and securing materials, equipment and related services on time and within budget, in an ethical manner at all times, in accordance with procedures.
Requirements
Requirements
•Degree educated in a related discipline
•Member of a recognized professional body e.g. MRICS
•15+ years post graduate experience
•Experience in international contracting mechanisms e.g. FIDIC
•Sound knowledge of the contract administration aspects of major buildings, civils & infrastructure projects including iconic buildings and mixed use developments with experience in procurement and contract administration
•Experienced user of MS Office and understanding project management software
•Fluency in English language both written and spoken
