Senior Communications Operator – UAE National

Job description / Role

My client, one of the largest oil and gas companies in the UAE, is looking for a UAE national to join their communications team.

The ideal candidate will possess 1 year’s commercial experience in a similar position. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in the fast paced and continually expanding oil and gas sector in Dubai.

Responsibilities:
• Receive all incoming communications (internal and external) within head office and other offshore sites. This includes, fax, email, radio and call, and forward them accordingly.
• Ensure all the alert and emergency lines are manned and ensure priority of answering these lines.
• Ensure all communication lines are running effectively and ensure smooth restoration in the event of any problems.
• Act as single point of contact for all office visitors.
• Ensure familiarity with all systems, especially fleet management in order to issue reports from such systems.
• Update and sent the weather report to various company locations.

Requirements

Skills and experience required:
• Must be a UAE national with fluent English and Arabic written and spoken skills
• Experience in a communications role previously
• Experience in the Oil and Gas sector would be beneficial.

Benefits:
Monthly salary of 12,000 – 13,000 AED + Benefits
